Spartans = White Supremacy？ NAACP Leader's School Mascot Claim Sparks Outrage ｜ The Right Squad

A Long Island school district's mascot change has ignited controversy after local NAACP leader William King Moss III claimed replacing "Indians" with "Spartans" is equally problematic. In this segment of Newsmax's "The Right Squad" with Chris Plante, The Daily Signal's Rob Bluey breaks down Moss's shocking assertion that "Spartans" represents "white supremacy" and his claim that ancient Spartans' treatment of women makes the mascot inappropriate for modern schools. While New York state law now prohibits certain mascots, the panel questions whether this controversy distracts from more pressing issues in the Brentwood School District, where only 28% of elementary students and 26% of middle school students are proficient in reading and math. Is this another example of woke politicians erasing history?
