Emperor penguin chicks seen cliff diving on camera for first time.

6 month old Emperor Penguin chicks typically march to the ocean and will jump into the water to take their first swim, usually from a height of just a couple of feet. While this is the normal behavior, some chicks, especially those bred on permanent ice shelves, have been observed leaping from much higher cliffs, even 50 feet in some cases.
