Dev Diwali — the festival of lights celebrated by the Gods themselves. On Kartik Purnima, the ghats of Varanasi come alive with thousands of diyas, glowing temples, and divine chants along the Ganga. It is believed that on this night, Lord Mahadev and the Gods descend to the Ganga to celebrate. At Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, the heart of Mahadev’s city, every light feels like his blessing. Varanasi is the only city where life and death are celebrated together, where every flame, every prayer, and even every goodbye becomes part of the divine. A night where light meets devotion, and the soul feels one with Mahadev.
