Jeyra： The Interrogation ｜ World’s First Bengali AI Short Film

Jeyra: The Interrogation is the world’s first Bengali AI psychological short film, set entirely inside a Kolkata police interrogation room. This dialogue-driven cinematic work explores power, silence, moral ambiguity, and human judgment through disciplined, realistic AI-assisted filmmaking. Unlike many AI-generated films that rely on spectacle, fantasy, or heightened visuals, Jeyra deliberately embraces restraint. The film focuses on emotional realism, psychological nuance, and controlled performances—areas that demand precision, continuity, and subtle human behavior rather than visual excess. The story unfolds in real time through conversation alone. What begins as routine questioning slowly transforms into a psychological confrontation, where authority, language, and personal bias shape an irreversible outcome. The confined space becomes a pressure chamber for human behavior, allowing tension and emotion to emerge organically through silence, pauses, and measured dialogue. Produced using Google Flow for narrative and scene orchestration and Veo 3 for cinematic visual generation, the film demonstrates how generative AI can support disciplined, realistic filmmaking without overpowering storytelling intent. The technology remains deliberately invisible—serving the narrative rather than defining it. As an early milestone in Bengali AI cinema, Jeyra: The Interrogation illustrates how artificial intelligence can coexist with traditional narrative structure, performance-driven writing, and minimal cinematic environments. It stands as a focused exploration of realism and cultural authenticity within AI-assisted storytelling. https://www.lykstage.com/c/Bongflix
