Watch the extended sneak preview of The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim, the New Line Cinema anime feature arriving only in theaters December 13. Directed by Kenji Kamiyama (Blade Runner: Black Lotus, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex), this original anime film is set 183 years before the events of the beloved trilogy and based on J.R.R. Tolkien's revered works. The story follows Héra, daughter of the legendary King of Rohan, Helm Hammerhand, as she fights to lead her people's last stand at the Hornburg — the fortress that will one day be known as Helm's Deep — against Wulf, a ruthless Dunlending lord bent on total vengeance. Brian Cox voices Helm Hammerhand, Gaia Wise plays Héra, and Luke Pasqualino portrays Wulf. Miranda Otto reprises her iconic role as Éowyn, Shieldmaiden of Rohan, serving as narrator. The ensemble cast also includes Lorraine Ashbourne, Yazdan Qafouri, Benjamin Wainwright, Laurence Ubong Williams, Shaun Dooley, Michael Wildman, Jude Akuwudike, Bilal Hasna, and Janine Duvitski. #WarOfTheRohirrim #LordOfTheRings #AnimeMovie #MiddleEarth #LOTR #Lykstage #LykstageVideo #LykstageCreator #LykstageCommunity
