West Bengal Election 2026: CC Cameras on Booth Roads Too

The Election Commission has decided to install CC cameras not just inside polling booths but also on roads leading to booths ahead of West Bengal's second phase of voting in 2026. According to ABP Ananda, the decision targets densely populated and congested areas, with Kolkata and Howrah specifically identified as locations where booth-approach roads will now come under CCTV surveillance. The move signals a significant step up in election security and transparency measures, with the Commission aiming to monitor voter movement and deter any potential intimidation or irregularities before and during polling day. #WestBengalElection2026 #ElectionCommission #BengaliNews #ABPAnanda #AssemblyElection2026 #Lykstage #LykstageVideo #LykstageCreator #LykstageCommunity
