Dol Dol Duluni is a vibrant Bengali folk song performed by Fazlur Rahman Babu as part of IPDC আমাদের গান, a series celebrating the richness of Bangladesh's musical heritage. The song is rooted in the tradition of Abdul Latif (1925–2005), the legendary Bangladeshi lyricist, composer, and vocalist who dedicated his life to Bengali music and the Language Movement. Latif began singing at the age of 16 with the Congress Sahitya Sangha, joined Radio Pakistan as a regular artist in August 1948, and went on to compose the original melody for "Amar Bhaier Rokto Rangano" in 1952 — the iconic ekushey song later re-scored by Altaf Mahmud. His celebrated compositions include "Ora Amar Mukher Kotha Kaiya Nite Chay" and "Ami Dam Diye Kinechi Bangla," anthems that continue to resonate deeply across Bangladesh. In recognition of his extraordinary contribution to the nation's music and cultural identity, Abdul Latif was awarded the Swadhinata Puraskar — Bangladesh's highest civilian honour — in 2002. Fazlur Rahman Babu's spirited rendition of Dol Dol Duluni honours that legacy with powerful vocals and authentic folk rhythm. #BanglaFolk #FazlurRahmanBabu #IPDCAmaderGaan #AbdulLatif #BangladeshMusic #Lykstage #LykstageVideo #LykstageCreator #LykstageCommunity
