Drug Bust missions in the video game Sleeping Dogs are short side activities that help Wei Shen earn Cop XP, Face XP, and money by targeting gang drug suppliers. These missions are completed in three stages. First, Wei must defeat groups of local gangsters, usually ranging from 10 to 20 enemies, with more arriving during combat. Some missions include armed enemies, forcing Wei to use cover, weapons, or vehicles strategically. After defeating enough thugs, the remaining enemies flee, and Wei receives Face XP. The second stage involves hacking a security camera connected to an access point. Wei uses his phone to enter a four-digit code made of unique numbers. The system indicates whether numbers are correct, incorrect, or placed wrongly through color signals. Since only six attempts are allowed before the system resets, players must solve the code carefully and logically. In the final stage, Wei returns to his apartment and accesses the hacked camera feeds through his television. He must identify the drug supplier among the triad members, usually recognizable as the person wearing a suit and pacing around. Once identified and arrested, Wei earns Cop XP and HK $10,000.
