Georgia Votes on Its Future — Where Is the Country Headed? | DW Documentary

This DW Documentary explores Georgia's pivotal political crossroads, examining where the country is headed as its citizens vote on their nation's future. The film delves into the deep divisions shaping Georgian society — between pro-European integration and closer ties with Russia, between reform-minded movements and entrenched political powers. Through on-the-ground reporting and expert analysis, it captures the hopes, fears, and competing visions of ordinary Georgians and political figures alike. The documentary paints a vivid picture of a nation at a turning point, weighing its historical ties, geopolitical pressures, and democratic aspirations. As elections unfold and public debate intensifies, DW Documentary traces the forces pulling Georgia in different directions and asks what the outcome means not just for its people, but for the wider region and Europe's eastern neighbourhood. #DWDocumentary #GeorgiaPolitics #GeorgiaElection #EuropeanIntegration #Lykstage #LykstageVideo #LykstageCreator #LykstageCommunity
