Yu Lin Ling (雨霖铃) Season 1 Episode 33 — a co-production by Noon Sun (正午阳光) and Youku — follows the iconic "Southern Knight" Zhan Zhao (杨洋 / Yang Yang) as he navigates the deadly divide between imperial law and the chivalric code of the jianghu. In this episode, the story deepens as Zhan Zhao, a fourth-rank armed imperial guard, carries a fatal secret: evidence of a high-ranking court official's treasonous alliance and illegal salt trade, all pointing to the Prince of Xiangyang's rebellion. Forced south and hunted by multiple factions, he crosses paths with Huo Lingling (章若楠 / Zhang Ruonan), the free-spirited young mistress of Lingling Manor who is herself fleeing an arranged marriage. Despite grave injuries, Zhan Zhao repeatedly saves her life, forging a powerful bond. The unlikely pair later encounter the dashing "Golden-Furred Rat" Bai Yutang (方逸伦 / Fang Yilun), who joins forces with Huo Lingling to storm Zhan Zhao's prison and break him free. United as a sworn brotherhood, the trio unravel layer after layer of court conspiracy and jianghu assassinations, ultimately dismantling the Prince of Xiangyang's vast power scheme and crushing the rebellion to protect the realm. Based on the classic wuxia tale San Xia Wu Yi (三侠五义). #雨霖铃 #YangYang #ChineseHistoricalDrama #WuxiaDrama #NoonSunProductions #Lykstage #LykstageVideo #LykstageCreator #LykstageCommunity
