Travel with AK shares a gripping firsthand account of being arrested and jailed by rebels in the Democratic Republic of the Congo during what became one of the most dramatic travel experiences ever documented on the channel. In this episode, AK walks through every tense moment — from the unexpected encounter in a conflict-affected region to the uncertainty of navigating a deeply complex and dangerous environment, and ultimately the resilience required to come out the other side. Beyond the raw story, this vlog offers rare, honest insight into the realities of travelling through remote and underexplored parts of Africa. AK reflects on the importance of understanding local conditions before entering conflict zones, the unpredictability of adventure travel in lesser-visited destinations, and the deeply human encounters that can define a journey. It is a candid, unfiltered look at what off-the-beaten-path travel can truly involve — told by someone who lived it. #TravelWithAK #DRCongo #AdventureTravel #AfricaTravel #TravelVlog #Lykstage #LykstageVideo #LykstageCreator #LykstageCommunity
