Based on the mind-bogglingly true story of the real-life Scottish hip-hop duo Silibil N’ Brains, the movie chronicles two lifelong best friends from Dundee who are repeatedly laughed out of UK music auditions. In a desperate bid for a record deal, they execute an audacious hoax by faking heavy American accents and reinventing themselves as hard-partying Californian rappers. This raw sneak peek delivers a glimpse into their meticulously practiced accents and the sheer madness of their music industry hustle. Starring breakout talents Séamus McLean Ross and Samuel Bottomley, the biographical comedy-drama effortlessly captures the swagger and chaos of a harmless prank that spirals completely out of control. As the fictional duo signs with a major label and cons top producers, the pressure to maintain their fictional personas begins to fracture their own sense of identity and lifelong friendship. Featuring sharp social commentary on the music industry's obsession with authenticity and a killer hip-hop soundtrack, this critically acclaimed film is currently available to buy or rent online across digital storefronts like Amazon Prime Video. #CaliforniaSchemin#JamesMcAvoy#SilibilNBrains#SneakPeek#MovieTrailer2026#HipHopBiopic#StudioCanal#SamuelBottomley#SeamusMcLeanRoss#TrueStoryMovie
