Old Brewery Mission Opens Monk Pavilion in Montreal's Sud-Ouest

The Old Brewery Mission has officially opened the Monk Pavilion, its first permanent rehousing facility in Montreal's Sud-Ouest borough. Located steps from Monk metro station, the building features 18 fully equipped studio apartments — each with a private kitchen and bathroom — designed to provide stability for individuals transitioning out of homelessness. The ground floor hosts a Renaissance donation centre, creating a mixed-use community hub that encourages social integration and positive cohabitation with local residents. The project was developed through a collaborative partnership spanning municipal, provincial, and federal governments alongside the Fonds de solidarité FTQ-Québec, marking a significant expansion of the Old Brewery Mission's city-wide housing network. #MonkPavilion #OldBreweryMission #MontrealHousing #AffordableHousing #HomelessnessPrevention #Lykstage #LykstageVideo #LykstageCreator #LykstageCommunity
