Britain's Mining Communities to AI: What the Nation Lost Along the Way

Britain's journey from coal mines and industrial towns to an AI-driven economy tells a powerful story of economic change and human cost. This film explores how once-thriving mining communities helped build the nation, what happened when those industries declined, and how unemployment, social challenges, and a loss of identity reshaped entire regions. As artificial intelligence and advanced technologies continue to transform the future of work, the documentary reflects on the people and places left behind during previous transitions — and raises important questions about progress, opportunity, and whether modern innovation can create a more inclusive future for everyone across Britain. #BritishHistory #CoalMining #ArtificialIntelligence #FutureOfWork #EconomicChange #Lykstage #LykstageVideo #LykstageCreator #LykstageCommunity
