THE RESTAURANT LET ME PLAY

I really wanted to play piano during my trip to New Orleans but the only one I found on PublicPiano was in Mr. Ed's, a restaurant with people in it! I asked to play, but I was VERY shy, and checked another place out before I decided to come back where they welcomed me with open arms. "I'm not very good," I prefaced just as my adorable buddy Alana said, "HE'S VERY GOOD!" which made us LOL. Well, this is the first 10 minutes of my 20+ minute impromptu piano performance; please note I've never performed solo piano publicly before, in this life. Around 4:59 I remember how to use foot pedal! Additionally, I was shocked at the end to have the restaurant applaud me. I really had no idea where I was by the end of the perofmrnace, and I was very out of it since I was somewhere else entirely (in a religious sense). You might notice that I was thinking of my next chord progression as I am playing the current one, since I am of course improvising. As soon as I do too many minors or majors I quickly switch to another; as soon as I do something too fantastical I switch to something melodic; something brooding to something jovial, &c. I am thinking of myself as much as the listener. I really look forward to my next album of 85+ songs and I look forward to composing again. ALSO- so many Godly and divine things are happening in this trip that I cannot help but be grateful for every moment of it. Thank you for listening!
