Dr. Mehmet Okkan delivers a sharp geopolitical analysis of the Mecca Pact (Mekke Paktı) and why Israel and Greece view this historic regional alignment with deep strategic concern. The discussion unpacks how this emerging alliance reshapes power balances across the Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean, challenging existing defence dynamics in the Aegean, disrupting established trade routes, and redrawing diplomatic leverage for key regional actors. Drawing on his expertise in foreign policy and international relations, Dr. Okkan examines the maritime agreements, security cooperation frameworks, and economic alliances that underpin the pact — and explains why these shifts carry serious implications for Israeli security calculations and Greek regional strategy. Whether you follow Middle Eastern politics, Eastern Mediterranean diplomacy, or global security developments, this detailed commentary offers a clear-eyed breakdown of one of the most consequential diplomatic realignments in recent memory. #MekkePaktı #MehmetOkkan #MiddleEastGeopolitics #Diplomacy #ForeignPolicy #Lykstage #LykstageVideo #LykstageCreator #LykstageCommunity
