Rhino First Date at Beekse Bergen Safari Park | Neushoorn(y) eerste date bij Beekse Bergen

Two rhinos meet for the very first time at Safaripark Beekse Bergen in this rare behind-the-scenes look at a carefully planned wildlife introduction. After being kept apart for an extended period and gradually introduced to each other through scent and sound, the moment finally arrived for a real face-to-face encounter on the open plains of the safari park. For the animal keepers at Beekse Bergen, a first introduction like this is always a nail-biting milestone. Behaviour is observed meticulously in the lead-up to pinpoint the perfect timing, because a female rhino that is not yet in cycle can react fiercely and dominantly — completely natural behaviour, but something the team must be fully prepared for. Fortunately, this particular introduction went smoothly, and the two impressive animals quickly settled into natural, remarkable social interaction with one another. This unique glimpse behind the scenes shows exactly how dedicated wildlife professionals work to support the wellbeing and natural dynamics of one of the world's most iconic species. #BeekseBergen #RhinoIntroduction #SafariPark #WildlifeConservation #OpSafari #Lykstage #LykstageVideo #LykstageCreator #LykstageCommunity
