Fogo na Floresta — Immersive 360° VR Documentary on the Amazon

Fogo na Floresta (Fire in the Forest) is a stunning 360° virtual reality documentary by Instituto Socioambiental (ISA) and Academia de Filmes, set deep in the Amazon basin. This immersive VR experience places viewers alongside the Waurá (Wauja) indigenous people inside the Xingu Indigenous Park, offering an intimate window into their traditional way of life — from age-old fishing practices and cassava preparation to sacred community rituals. The film draws a powerful and urgent contrast between the richness of indigenous forest life and the devastating environmental threats closing in on their territory, including rampant forest fires and the climate imbalances driven by surrounding deforestation. Through virtual reality, audiences are not passive observers but active participants, standing side-by-side with the Waurá and gaining a profound understanding of their ancestral bond with the forest and their irreplaceable role in protecting it. #FogoNaFloresta #AmazonRainforest #IndigenousRights #VR360 #EnvironmentalDocumentary #Lykstage #LykstageVideo #LykstageCreator #LykstageCommunity
