A Nutria, also known as a Coypu, is a large semi-aquatic rodent recognized by its rounded body, webbed hind feet, long tail, and distinctive orange front teeth. Native to South America, nutrias live around rivers, lakes, marshes, and wetlands, although they have also been introduced to many other parts of the world. Nutrias are excellent swimmers and spend much of their time in or near water. They are mainly herbivores, feeding on aquatic plants, roots, stems, leaves, and grasses. Their webbed hind feet help propel them through the water, while their eyes, ears, and nostrils are positioned high on the head to help them stay alert while swimming. Although fascinating animals, introduced nutria populations can become invasive, damaging wetlands by consuming large amounts of vegetation and digging extensive burrows. Their aquatic lifestyle, unusual orange teeth, and remarkable adaptability make nutrias some of the most interesting rodents in the wild. πΏπβ¨ #Nutria #Coypu #Wildlife #AnimalFacts #NatureDocumentary #WetlandWildlife #SouthAmericanWildlife #AquaticAnimals #NatureLovers #WildAnimals #AnimalLovers #AmazingNature #Rodents #FreshwaterWildlife #WildlifeVideo #BBCEarth #NationalGeographic #ViralReels #TrendingReels #ExplorePage #FYP #ForYou #DailyFacts
