Historian and longtime archivist Frank Lubowitz shares expert insights in this interview from the digital museum tour "Grenzen" (2020/21), a film-based series created as a replacement for pandemic-cancelled bus tours during the German-Danish Friendship Year. As a leading authority on the history of North Schleswig, Lubowitz explores the historical background, political developments, and the peaceful coexistence of communities in this European border region. The series made selected museums along the German-Danish border digitally accessible, combining innovative cultural education with regional historical awareness. His in-depth reflections shed light on minority identities, cross-border culture, and the rich, layered museum landscape of the Schleswig-Holstein region — offering audiences a valuable window into one of Europe's most distinctive historical frontiers. #Museumstour #FrankLubowitz #Nordschleswig #SchleswigHolstein #DeutschDänisch #Lykstage #LykstageVideo #LykstageCreator #LykstageCommunity
