El-Da7ee7: Ideological Speciation & Confirmation Bias Explained | الدحيح - ده بيأكد كلامي

El-Da7ee7 explores "Ideological Speciation" — the cognitive bias that makes every side see the same fact as proof they were right all along. In this episode of الدحيح, host Ahmed El-Ghandour dives deep into confirmation bias (انحياز التأكيد), social psychology, and the mechanics of polarised thinking — unpacking why we instinctively view the world through a "you're either with me or against me" lens. The episode examines how social media algorithms and echo chambers (مجموعات الفكر المغلقة) accelerate ideological speciation, splitting societies into intellectual tribes that no longer share a common language or a common reality. With his signature satirical and accessible style, El-Da7ee7 reveals how the human mind stops being a truth-seeking machine and instead becomes a defence lawyer aggressively protecting our pre-existing beliefs — reinterpreting every new piece of evidence to confirm what we already think. A must-watch for anyone who has ever caught themselves saying "see, that proves my point." #ElDa7ee7 #ConfirmationBias #IdeologicalSpeciation #ArabicEducation #علمالنفس #Lykstage #LykstageVideo #LykstageCreator #LykstageCommunity
