CD Projekt Red is committed to giving fans something physical to own when the highly anticipated RPG arrives. Even if PlayStation moves away from game discs, the studio has confirmed that a boxed edition is planned, with tangible collectibles and special extras for fans who still enjoy having something to open, display, and keep. The situation highlights the changing landscape of physical gaming and Sony’s plans surrounding disc production. The exact contents of the box have not yet been revealed, and a PlayStation disc could depend on Sony’s manufacturing policies.
