Netflix's action-thriller *Gandhari*, starring Taapsee Pannu, aims to deliver an emotionally charged story of a mother battling a child-trafficking ring, but it ultimately spirals into pure "matlab kuch bhi" absurdity. Directed by Devashish Makhija and written by Kanika Dhillon, the narrative attempts to blend a mother’s grief with ancient mythological metaphors, street-level vigilante action, and a bizarre undercover setup in the fictional town of Joypurra. Instead of an edge-of-your-seat survival drama, the movie relies on wildly convenient plot contrivances, forced character betrayals, and logic-defying martial arts sequences where a temporarily blind protagonist outsmarts an entire criminal syndicate. While Taapsee Pannu commits whole-heartedly to the physical intensity and raw desperation of her role, even her strong screen presence cannot save a script bogged down by absurd twists and tonal inconsistency. Supporting actors like Ishwak Singh and Mita Vashisht do their best with the material, but their character arcs end up heavily distorted by lazy storytelling mechanics. The attempt to mash up gritty realistic crime with over-the-top, superhero-like vigilante tropes produces a jarring experience that leaves viewers facepalming at the narrative leaps. *Gandhari* serves as another streaming release that starts with a pressing social premise only to lose all logic along the way. #Gandhari #GandhariReview #TaapseePannu #NetflixIndia #MatlabKuchBhi #BollywoodReview #MovieReview #KanikaDhillon #IshwakSingh #ThrillerMovie
