Delhi Hostel Collapse: 7 Students Killed as PG Building Falls in Satyaniketan | দিল্লি হস্টেল বিপর্যয়ে ৭ পড়ুয়ার মৃত্যু

A five-storey paying guest hostel collapsed in Delhi's Satyaniketan area, killing seven students and sparking nationwide grief and outrage. Initial investigations suggest the tragedy was caused by an illegally constructed multi-storey building in a residential zone, built without adherence to safety regulations and operating with dangerously substandard infrastructure. The disaster has exposed how unscrupulous operators exploited the shortage of university hostel facilities to run illegal PG businesses, putting students' lives at grave risk. Following the collapse, authorities and the judiciary have taken swift action. The Delhi High Court issued strict directives, leading to the suspension of several Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) officials on charges of negligence. The administration has also ordered a rigorous structural safety audit of all private hostels and PG accommodations across the capital to verify legal approvals and ensure compliance with building safety norms. #DelhiHostelCollapse #SatyaNiketan #StudentSafety #DelhiHighCourt #MCDAction #Lykstage #LykstageVideo #LykstageCreator #LykstageCommunity
