Sleeping Dogs 2012 - Popstar's Lead 3 | Drug Supplier Popstar is Arrested

Who is Popstar ? Popstar is the primary drug supplier for the Sun On Yee and has built a strong reputation through years of criminal activity. He obtains narcotics from sources such as Fang Shen, Smuggler Hong, and several other unidentified contacts. Popstar also maintains a close working relationship with Ming. After Wei Shen successfully arranged for Popstar’s arrest and imprisonment, members of the Water Street Gang—including Winston—began to suspect that Wei might be an undercover cop and informant. To protect his cover, Wei cleverly shifted the blame onto Ming, convincing Winston that Ming was the real traitor. Believing the accusation, Winston ultimately executed Ming. Popstar's Lead 3/The Snitch is Caught/Popstar is Arrested: Popstar (the Sun On Yee's main drug supplier) shoots his supplier, Smuggler Hong, during an argument over a drug shipment. Wei Shen secretly photographs this crime scene and uses the evidence to have Popstar arrested (by Inspector Teng) and charged with conspiracy and trafficking.
