Frances Tiafoe outlasts Martin Damm in a thrilling five-set, four-hour battle at Louis Armstrong Stadium in the first round of the 2026 US Open. Tiafoe came through 6-4, 4-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 in one of the tournament's most dramatic opening-round contests, saving his best tennis for the decisive fifth set after Damm had fired an incredible 28 aces to keep himself in the match deep into the night. This condensed match brings together every key moment from the encounter — the huge serving, aggressive baseline exchanges, crucial breaks of serve, and the dramatic momentum swings that defined a memorable Grand Slam battle. Relive the standout rallies and high-pressure points that made this one of the most exciting first-round matches of the 2026 US Open on hard court at Flushing Meadows. #USOpen2026 #FrancesTiafoe #MartinDamm #TennisHighlights #GrandSlam #Lykstage #LykstageVideo #LykstageCreator #LykstageCommunity
