The Indian Air Force's Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team (SKAT) delivers a breathtaking display at Aero India 2025, showcasing the precision and skill that has made them one of Asia's most celebrated aerobatics teams. Formed in 1996 as part of the No. 52 Squadron and based at Bidar Air Force Station in Karnataka, SKAT has a rich history rooted in excellence. The team originally flew the HAL HJT-16 Kiran Mk.2 trainer aircraft before being suspended in February 2011, then triumphantly re-established in 2015 with the advanced BAE Hawk Mk.132 aircraft. The name Surya Kiran, meaning "Rays of the Sun," reflects the team's blazing, high-energy performances that light up the skies at every airshow they attend. Aero India 2025 provided yet another spectacular stage for SKAT to demonstrate why they remain a proud symbol of Indian Air Force excellence and aerial mastery. #SuryaKiran #AeroIndia2025 #IndianAirForce #Aerobatics #AirShow #Lykstage #LykstageVideo #LykstageCreator #LykstageCommunity
