And I forgot the truth so clear, The Father of souls is always near. Like silver losing its shining glow, When exposed to the world below, My spiritual heart became dim, And I forgot my relationship with Him. But no worldly medicine could make me whole, No possession could heal the soul. Then I found the polish divine, Remembrance of Baba, the light of mine. Give me a new life while I am living, Give me the strength of loving and giving. Let the old identity fade away, Let remembrance guide me every day.
