Ukraine Tryzub Installed on Motherland Monument in Kyiv | Тризуб на Батьківщині-Матері

The massive Ukrainian Tryzub (trident) installed on Kyiv's iconic Motherland Monument involved extraordinary engineering, precision metalwork, and meticulous structural planning. This video reveals the full story of how the Ukrainian state coat of arms was designed, fabricated, and mounted onto the monument's enormous shield — replacing Soviet-era symbols in one of modern Ukraine's most significant cultural transformations. From the complex engineering calculations needed to determine the trident's dimensions and load-bearing fixings, to the hands-on metalworking and the careful coordination of specialists working at extreme height, every stage of the project is explored in detail. The structure had to harmonise visually with the monument while withstanding wind pressure and harsh weather conditions year-round. The replacement of Soviet symbolism with Ukraine's national emblem was not only a feat of architecture and technology, but also a landmark moment in the country's contemporary history. Discover the remarkable craftsmanship, engineering ingenuity, and national significance behind this monumental project. #Tryzub #MotherlandMonument #UkraineHistory #Kyiv #Metalworking #Lykstage #LykstageVideo #LykstageCreator #LykstageCommunity
