Queen - Let Me Entertain You (Musikbox, February 11, 1979)

Queen’s blistering performance of "Let Me Entertain You," filmed in Munich during the European leg of their 1979 Jazz Tour and broadcast on the German music program Musikbox, captures the legendary British rock quartet at the peak of their late-seventies arena rock prowess. Serving as the show’s explosive, tongue-in-cheek opener, the track showcases Freddie Mercury’s commanding stage presence, dynamic vocal stamina, and trademark theatricality as he conducts the roaring crowd in full leather attire. Backed by Brian May’s signature soaring Red Special guitar riffs, Roger Taylor’s thunderous rhythmic drive, and John Deacon’s tight, driving bassline, the band delivers a masterclass in heavy, theatrical glam rock. This televised performance remains an extraordinary historical document of Queen’s raw live energy, capturing the fierce musicianship, unmatched charisma, and stadium-filling grandeur that cemented their legacy among the greatest live acts in rock history. #Queen #FreddieMercury #BrianMay #RogerTaylor #JohnDeacon #LetMeEntertainYou #JazzTour1979 #ClassicRock #Musikbox #LiveRock #70sRock #RockLegends
