The MUBI Watchlist by Anupama Chopra ｜ Films by Women Auteurs ｜ Film Companion

Anupama Chopra explores the rich array of films on MUBI, highlighting three outstanding works helmed by female directors. The first recommendation is Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla, which is out in cinemas now. The second film is Petite Maman, translated as little mom, directed and written by Celine Sciamma, who is also known for her remarkable film Portrait of a Lady on Fire. The final suggestion is First Cow by Kelly Reichardt, a film set in the American Pacific Northwest during the 1820s. We have partnered with MUBI to offer you an exclusive discounted subscription of MUBI GO for a whole month - with this, you can watch Priscilla in theatres for free this whole week, and you also get a whole month of MUBI to stream their amazing films at home.
