'I told Uddhav Thackeray, all of us were pained by betrayal he had to face：'Swami Avimukteshwaranand

Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath, Swami Avimukteshwaranand, said in Mumbai on meeting Shiv Sena UBT leader Uddhav Thackeray, 'all of us are followers of Sanatana Dharma. We have a definition of 'Paap' and 'Punya'. The biggest sin is betrayal. Uddhav Thackeray has been deceived. I told him (Uddhav Thackeray) that all of us were pained by the betrayal he had to face. Our pain will not be relieved until he becomes the CM of Maharashtra again... A person who commits deceit cannot be a Hindu. The one who bears it is a Hindu. The people of Maharashtra are pained by it, and it was also visible in the elections... This is also disrespectful to the people who choose their leader. It is wrong to break a government in between and insult the public mandate.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Exclusive content, special privileges & more – Subscribe to ThePrint for Special benefits: https://theprint.in/subscribe/ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Connect with ThePrint » Subscribe to ThePrint: https://theprint.in/subscribe/ » Subscribe to our YouTube Channel: https://bit.ly/3nCMpht » Like us on Facebook: / theprintindia » Tweet us on Twitter: / theprintindia » Follow us on Instagram: / theprintindia » Find us on LinkedIn : / theprint » Subscribe to ThePrint on Telegram: https://t.me/ThePrintIndia » Find us on Spotify: https://spoti.fi/2NMVlnB » Find us on Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/3pEOta8
