A new chapter in my life.... Dance is a process of learning, searching, conflicting, playing, connecting, projecting, criticizing & climbing. “Build your dream as they are not just fantasies; DREAM TO DANCE” Jainil Mehta, a 21-year old from Mumbai, India is currently a BFA student at the prestigious USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, Los Angeles and is pursuing his bachelor’s in dance. Dancing for over 17 years, his aim is to create the first-ever accredited higher education dance program in India through global exchange, interdisciplinary learning and partnerships. Designed & choreographed 3 productions: Chimera- A Dream, Alankar-The Little Jewels and DECODED. Training under renowned Western choreographers William Forsythe, Jodie Gates, Azsure Barton, Barak Marshall, Desmond Richardson. Training professionally in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, Indian Classical and Indian Folk. Choreographed for Big Wild’s music video “6’s to 9’s’ & Falguni Pathak’s ‘Jode Rahejo Raaj.’ He classes are famous across India as well as Pakistan, China, Singapore, UK, Europe, Australia and the US to over 1000+ students.
