From its humble beginnings with 8 children, Vegesna Foundation now serves over 500 children with severe disabilities, most of them abandoned by their parents and were found begging for livelihood . The Foundation offers education up to intermediate vocational, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, surgical corrections by qualified doctors, vocational training in tailoring, embroidery, printing & dyeing, computer education, music & yoga. All these services are offered in in-house facilities and costs about $250 per child per year. "As a child, my classical dance performances raised the funds to build the meditation hall for the children. Sitting in a physical place built from my ART inspired me to reach a larger platform with my music...so that I could affect more real change in the world.
