Text in your video can perform different functions. In today’s episode, we are going to explain how to add titles and text to your video and, even more important, when it’s necessary to use them. Enjoy the episode! Users who want to add text or titles to their videos usually have to decide what information must be brought to their viewers and how they’re going to manage the title settings. IF YOU NEED TO PUT INFORMATION IN. Text can be inserted in a video to highlight a certain topic or display the film title. Also, texts are necessary for giving viewers additional information that may not have been mentioned in the video itself. Use titles to create end credits with names of people who took part in filming your video. HOW TO ADD TEXT OR TITLES TO VIDEO. 1. Drag a clip to your video editor. We normally use Movavi Video Editor. 2. Click the “Titles” tab to open the built-in library of basic or artistic titles, and samples for animated intros. 3. Select the type of text or title you want in your video. 4. Drag the title icon right onto the timeline. Change the title duration if it’s necessary. 5. Make a double-click on the title clip. Then, type your text in the preview window. 6. Change the font, font size or color of the text. 7. Adjust the position and size of the title. HOW TO ADJUST TITLES. Change such color adjustments as brightness and contrast to make your text overlay readable. If it’s not an appropriate approach to you, try to create color highlighting for the text. Transparent or opaque text backgrounds are perfect options to make the title or text easy to read. The “Callouts” tab contains everything you need to get this done.
