The King: Eternal Monarch – Season 1, Episode 2 In the second episode of The King: Eternal Monarch, Lee Gon begins to adapt to the Republic of Korea after crossing over from the Kingdom of Corea. He is astonished by the similarities between the two worlds but also by the subtle differences. Still determined to uncover the truth behind the mysterious events of his past, Lee Gon focuses on finding the woman who holds the key to his questions: Jeong Tae-eul. When Lee Gon finally encounters Tae-eul, she is skeptical of his claims. As a detective, she’s not easily swayed by his seemingly outlandish story about parallel universes and being the King of Corea. Though Lee Gon is persistent, offering the police badge from 1994 as proof, Tae-eul remains doubtful, thinking him to be a delusional man. Meanwhile, back in the Kingdom of Corea, Prime Minister Koo Seo-ryeong continues to assert her influence in the palace. She is curious about the King’s sudden absence and grows suspicious, seeking to consolidate more power for herself. Lee Gon’s loyal bodyguard, Jo Yeong, tries to keep things under control while the King is missing, but tensions are rising within the palace walls. At the same time, Lee Lim, who has been hiding in the shadows, begins to make his moves. He manipulates events in both worlds, building his army and seeking to reclaim the other half of the Manpasikjeok. Episode 2 delves deeper into the complexities of the two worlds, as Lee Gon and Tae-eul’s relationship slowly begins to develop amid the backdrop of an impending threat. The episode builds suspense, as the danger posed by Lee Lim becomes clearer, and the mystery of the parallel universes starts to unfold. #TheKingEternalMonarch #LeeMinHo #KimGoEun #ParallelWorlds #KDrama #RomanceFantasy #TimeTravel #Manpasikjeok #KingdomOfCorea #RepublicOfKorea #JeongTaeEul #LeeGon #LeeLim #RoyalIntrigue #AlternateUniverses #FateAndDestiny #MysteryDrama #KDramaFans #NetflixKDrama
