#BacktoBasics These whole wheat flour rotis are called phulkas because they are supposed to puff up when you cook. How many of these super light phulkas can you eat in one go? PHULKA Ingredients 2 cups whole wheat flour (atta) Salt to taste Method 1. Take whole wheat flour in a bowl, add salt and make a well in the centre. Add ½ cup water and knead to a soft dough. Cover with a damp muslin cloth and set aside for 10-15 minutes. 2. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape each portion into balls. Dust the worktop and the dough ball with flour and roll out into a thin disc. 3. Heat a non-stick tawa, place the disc on it. Cook the discs on both sides slightly on the tawa and then put on direct flame till well puffed. 4. Arrange the phulkas on a serving plate and drizzle ghee on top. Serve hot.
