The Divine Craftsmanship of Durgabari In the heart of Jaipur, in the vibrant Bani Park area, a group of passionate artisans from the Bengali community embarked on a divine journey. Their goal? To create five magnificent idols for the upcoming Durga Puja, each one a testament to their devotion and skill. It all began with 40 tons of exquisite Vietnamese marble, lovingly transported to Jaipur. Artigen say ‘We’ll spend three years crafting these idols, pouring our hearts into every detail” Yes! From Ganesh Ji to Ma Durga, each statue will reflect the divine energy they represent. Among these sacred creations, the majestic Ma Durga, standing 11 feet tall, became the centrepiece. With intricate carvings and gold vark painting worth 1.5 lakh rupees, she embodied strength and grace. Look at her! With each brushstroke, we channel her divine essence. And don’t forget Ma Laxmi Ji, Ma Saraswati Ji, Ganesh Ji, and Kartikey Ji! They will bring prosperity, wisdom, and joy to our celebration. These idols were more than just sculptures; they were a symbol of community and devotion. The artisans united, pouring their hearts into every curve and color. This isn’t just about making idols; it’s about preserving our culture and traditions. And passing it on to the next generation. As the final touches were applied as grand unveiling is near.
