Anupama Chopra on CTRL ｜ Movie Review ｜ THR India

Anupama Chopra reviews "CTRL," Vikramaditya Motwane's latest screen life thriller on Netflix. This cautionary tale follows influencers Nella (Ananya Panday) and Joe (Vihaan Samat), exploring the perils of oversharing and digital personas. While the plot's conspiracy elements feel underdeveloped, Ananya Panday delivers a nuanced performance that anchors the film. Despite grappling with the inherent challenges of the screen life format, Motwane's swift pacing keeps "CTRL" engaging. The film may be a minor work in his filmography, but it's a worthy experiment in storytelling that leaves viewers pondering their own digital lives. "CTRL" serves as an unnerving reminder of the loneliness and artificiality pervading our online existence. #CTRLNetflix #AnanyaPandayThriller #DigitalAgeCautionaryTale
