I need some help with a little bit of a mess (not a bad one) we find ourselves in. Quick rundown of where we sit: • 401K-$815k • Roth IRA-$270k • Brokerage-$330k • Cash-$980k • House-$1.05 mill with $585k in equity We do not have debt outside of mortgage. Most of money is in index funds across small, medium, large, tech, value and a small portion in international. 45 years old, married with 2 boys (17 and 15 years old). Will pay for kids college via cash flow. Question is what do we do with the cash that is earning roughly 5% rt now(I sold a few investments and never put it back in market with interest rates where they are and a feeling market is at high (and yes I know timing market is not possible)). I would like to get it into the market and I know time in market is better than time out of market so would you DCA or just go all in w/ about 80% of cash now? Also, considering putting a pool in which would run about $100k. Any issues w/ that? Thanks for your feedback!!"
