Key highlights of this leg of our journey include: Challenging Roads: The road from Kaza to Chhatru is known for its difficulty, with narrow paths, steep cliffs, and unstable surfaces. Unexpected Stay in Chhatru: Due to the dangerous road conditions, we have to halt our journey in Chhatru. Despite booking a tent camp, we convert our Maruti Alto K10 into a makeshift bedroom and spent a surprisingly comfortable night inside our car. Biggest Water Crossing: In the morning, we face the biggest and most dangerous water crossing in Spiti. We capture the adrenaline-pumping experience of crossing this formidable obstacle, along with several other water patches. Reaching Tarmac Road: After 72 kilometers of grueling off-roading without any network or proper roads, we finally reach the tarmac road, marking the end of this challenging segment of our journey.
