The stuntman, Ross Kananga was paid $60,000 for this stunt in the 1973 James Bond movie "Live and Let Die". In 1972-73 this was an insane amount of cash paid to a stuntman. The scene required five takes to complete, including one in which the last crocodile snapped at Kananga's heel, tearing his trousers and causing him a number of injuries. What a guy!
