Gingrebread Cookies #lebkuchen #recipe #easy #walnut Ingredients: 2 1/3 cups (300 g) of flour, 5 ounces (150 g) of ground walnuts, 3/4 cup (150 g) of brown sugar, 4.5 ounces (130 g) of honey, little less than 1 stick (80 g) of butter, 1.5 ounces (50 g) of molasses, 2 eggs, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of allspice, 1/2 teaspoon of clove powder, 1/2 teaspoon of ginger powder, 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/3 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate, 1 packet of vanilla sugar, zest of a lemon, 1/3 teaspoon of salt Filling plum jam Coating: 3.5 ounces (100 g) of dark chocolate melted with 1 teaspoon of oil Beat the melted butter with sugar for 2 minutes. Add the honey the eggs, the molasses, spices and the lemon zest. Beat it until that everything blends nicely. Change the whisk to a hook and add the ground walnuts and the flour slowly. Knead it until you get a soft sticky dough. Cover the dough with a plastic wrap and rest it in the fridge for 2 hours. After resting tear small pieces from the dough about the size of a walnut (30 g) and form balls with your hands. Now you have two options. You can bake them as it is, or fill them with a thick plum jam. If you want to fill the gingerbread cookies with plum jam, flatten the dough with your hand as you see it on the video and put a teaspoon of plum jam in the middle. Carefully pinch the dough together and form a ball. Place the balls on a parchment paper-lined baking pan by leaving a generous amount of space between them, because they will grow during baking. Bake them in a preheated 350 F oven for approximately 13-15 minutes. Let them cool down completely and dip them in melted chocolate. Mézeskalács: 300 g liszt, 150 g darált dió, 150 g barna cukor, 130 g méz, 80 g vaj, 50 g melasz, 2 tojás, 2 teáskanál fahéj, 1 kávéskanál mézeskalács fűszerkeverék, 1/2 evőkanál őrölt szegfűszeg, 1/2 teáskanál őrölt gyömbér, 1 evőkanál cukrozatlan kakaó por, 1/3 teáskanál szódabikarbóna, 1 teáskanál sütőpor, 1 cs vaníliás cukor, citrom reszelt héja, kicsi só Töltelék: szilvalekvár Bevonat: 100 g étcsokoládé felolvasztva 1 teáskanálnyi étolajjal Verjük fel a vajat a cukorral, majd adjuk hozzá a mézet, tojásokat, melaszt, fűszereket és a reszelt citromhéjat.
